Welcome to the 2021 European Athletics Championships, today we have the high jump event. This was the first time the championship was held in Poland since 1975 in Katowice. 659 athletes from 46 countries participated in the event
From Poland we have Adrianna Sulek. She began her career at a young age. In 2013, Sulek won the gold medal at the World Championships, the first time a Polish athlete had won a medal in the pentathlon at a major international championship.
Holly Mills, the British pentathlete is a rising star in the world of athletics. In 2021, Mills won the European Under 23 Championship in the pentathlon. She followed that up with a 4th place finish at the World Indoor Championships in 2022
Anna Ligarska from Poland. Ligarska began her athletic career as a heptathlete, but switched to pentathlon. In 2019, Ligarska won the European Under 23 Championship in the pentathlon, signaling her arrival as a force to be reckoned with.
María Vicente from Spain. In 2018, Vicente won the European under 18 Championship in the pentathlon, setting a new world record for the age group. In following season she won a gold medal at the European U20 Championships in 2019.

⁣Triumph of the Will (German: Triumph des Willens) is a National Socialist propaganda film made by Leni Riefenstahl.


It focuses on the 1934 Nazi Party Congress in Nuremberg. The film contains excerpts from speeches given by various National Socialist leaders at the Congress, including portions of speeches by Adolf Hitler, interspersed with footage of massed party members.
Hitler commissioned the film and served as an unofficial executive producer; his name appears in the opening titles. The overriding theme of the film is the return of Germany as a great power, with Hitler as the True German Leader who will bring glory to the nation.

Triumph of the Will was released in 1935 and rapidly became one of the best-known examples of propaganda in film history. Riefenstahl's techniques, such as moving cameras, the use of telephoto lenses to create a distorted perspective, aerial photography, and revolutionary approach to the use of music and cinematography, have earned Triumph recognition as one of the greatest films in history.[1] Riefenstahl won several awards, not only in Germany but also in the United States, France, Sweden, and other countries. The film was popular in the Third Reich and elsewhere, and has continued to influence movies, documentaries, and commercials to this day.

http://maddoxjets.com In this video I'm over in Klamath Falls Oregon at my desert test site doing some "really cool" runs on my super Dragoon 300 pound thrust valved pulsejet engine, as you can see in the video it is throttling up and down very well, this is a mild steel engine, when you get up to an engine this big they will cool themselves much better than the small ones. My fab shop is in medford Oregon where I grew up. I was a cabinet builder and fine artist for most of my life. In 1990 I started skydiving and made around 3000 jumps over the next 20 years and began building pulsejet engine around 2000.

Crazy Rocketman Bob Maddox has a little issue with a broken fuel switch and can't turn off the fuel pumps and has to exit the kart while still rolling.

I put together a small Jet Engine with a See Thru transparent housing to allow us to see inside of the jet engine while it's running, I explain the combustion process of the jet engine from the compressor to the turbine wheel and show visually how the see-thru Jet Engine Works.

I then film it in slow motion with the high-speed camera to get a better look at how the jet engine works but it wasn't such a big difference.

The amount of heat generated inside of the engine only a few millimeters from the outside cover was pretty impressive.

At the end I did inject fog into the intake of the jet engine to try and visualize the airflow into the engine and how the engine is ingesting air.
