Hello, I'm Mr. Taster in Kuwait, and today I'm planning to visit the one of the oldest restaurants, café, and fish market in Kuwait, called Bazaar Mubarakiya. I'll provide you with a report on their fish market.
First, we went to a Kuwaiti restaurant with over 100 years of history called Freej Swaeleh.
We enjoyed a variety of traditional Arabic dishes like Maklouba and Majboos Leham. The cozy restaurant bakes delicious bread in a traditional oven and serves flavorful coffee. The spread includes pickled garlic, Mabooch, Luqaimat, and spicy Kuwaiti chili. Tabbouleh, green salad, and Fattoush were served alongside Jareesh and Kabooth, a delightful dish with bread, meat broth, eggplant, dried lemon, and chili. Majboos Leham, featuring fish, tomato sauce, and Kuwaiti Majboos Mutton with Zubaidi fish, is exceptional. Saffron rice with chicken, along with various sauces, completes the amazing culinary experience.
Then, we visited a cafe with a charming atmosphere in Bazaar Mubarakiya, it’s a 130-year-old tea shop, originally from Iran. The atmospheric café, founded by the owner's father, features charcoal stoves and serves two types of tea – Iranian tea with sugar in glass cups and lemon tea. The traditional method involves pouring tea into a saucer and sipping it with sugar. The Persian tea with saffron is a must-try for its exquisite taste and aroma.
Afterward, we went to the largest fish market in Kuwait, located in Bazaar Mubarakiya. It was a bustling market with a wide variety of fish being sold is a serious but fascinating way.

I am in Mumbai, a very beautiful and energetic city, and with my dear friend, an elegant lady, Anmol, we came to Britannia & Co. Restaurant a Persian restaurant with 100 years history.
The restaurant has a very homely, old, and cool atmosphere with lots of customers.
They serve both Indian and Iranian dishes here. We tried the Iranian Zereshk Polo with chicken in the Indian version which has dried lime and a separate chutney masala on the side. I really didn't expect it, but it was very delicious. The mix with the masala was also astonishing; the Iranian and Indian mix turned out very cool. The next dish was Sali Boti which was actually mutton that I tried with roti bread. It was exceptionally juicy and spicy. Then we tried their Patra fish with green chutney on top, which had a sweet and soft taste that's very famous and loved in Mumbai; it's truly mouth-watering and excellent. Before serving the food, we also had their spicy ginger, raspberry, and ice cream soda which had an amazing taste.
The dishes I tried are must-tries if you come here because they are unique. For dessert, we tried their recommended caramel cream which was truly perfect. If you come here, don't end your meal without trying this caramel.
